College Life Week 7

I have found a really handy feature on my online blog software, which shows my word count for each post, which trying to find in word is pretty hard.

Usually I am noticing I am doing over 150 words per post which I feel is acceptable, in this day and age who gets to say how long a journal/diary/blog should be? As long as the information however brief it is, is there then it should be fine.

This week Rich asked to take our photos for his Conceptualisation project which was a lot of fun, making silly faces for him, we also found out that he’ll be adding these to his Maya Project which I’m jealous about, tho he has done a night class in maya before so knows what he’s doing.

Working on my Still Life piece now in Maya, I have chosen an artist that has made a lot of paintings with eggs in, fetish maybe?

I worked on the texture myself for the background wall in the piece, it was far too light for what was in the original painting, so I popped the image into photoshop and worked my digital magic on it to make it look a lot more like the original, I think it’s turned out really well so I’m really pleased with the result.
